Karimah Ashadu’s first institutional solo show in the USA has opened at Canal Projects in May 2025. Central to the show is the award-winning film “Machine Boys” (2024). The show will be open until July 26, 2025.

The film “Machine Boys”, 2024 will be screened from 14 January to 9 March 2025 in the cinema of Kunstal Charlottenborg, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Entrance to the cinema is free with paid admission to the museum. The film, which premiered at the 60th Venice Biennale in 2024, earned Karimah Ashadu the distinguished Silver Lion Prize.
